This is a members for members collaboration! All together we will make a collection of portraits representing #vexelove's members.

How it works
- To join you must leave a comment in this journal
- Only join if you are sure you will have the time. This collaboration means not only getting a portrait made, but also making one for a fellow member. It wouldn't be fair if you drop out.
- All entries will be put together in one large collaboration and will be submitted at #vexelove
- Send a note to #vexelove with a high resolution portrait photo which is suitable as a reference for a vexel/vector (before january 08 (midnight, gmt+1)
- We will have a random list of all participants. Someone makes a portrait of you, and someone else gets one from you.
- When you finished the portrait send #vexelove a note to let us know (don't submit anything yet)
- You will receive a note back with instructions on when and how to submit your entry

Rules
- It is not allowed to tell anyone who you are making a portrait of.
- Only Vexels and Vectors are allowed
- An experience level is required to participate, you must have at least 5 valid vexels/vectors in your gallery
- The portrait must be 600px (width) x 800px (height)
- Don't rush your entry. It would be nice if you put effort in making something special! You would't want to get something rushed too!
- All styles are allowed

You can only join until january 08 (midnight, gmt+1), after that the notes, names and photo's will be send to the participants.

As much as we all really love our #vexelove logo, we think it's time for something new after more than two years. We really could use some help with the design!
The winning design will not only get a feature, but will be used in all our blogs, as our avatar/icon and will also be seen on every deviation submitted to our group!

What we need:
- A logo, at least 350 x 350pixels which represents: #vexelove, vector/vexel art and the heart/spirit of our vector/vexel community.
- Not sure what #vexelove stands for? Please read the "about us" page or ask the admins for their opinion.
- You must provide a larger version we can download.
- A link to a .PNG file with a transparant background.
- An avatar/icon, exactly 100pixels (width) x 50pixels (height)
- The admins will vote for 2 or 3 favourites first. The members may vote for a final winner.

Rules:
- Your entry must be a new deviation created for this contest
- Only vectors and vexels are allowed (for the avatar/icon you may add an animation as long as the vector/vexel design of your logo is incorporated and recognizable as such)
- Using stock is not allowed unless it is your own. In this case you give permission to #vexelove to use it.
- It is allowed to use our current logo and incorporate it somehow in your entry, but you must credit the original artist *phig if you do so
- Send us a note with a link to the deviation. Subject: ID CONTEST
